The flygbuss is the most direct way to get to the city center, but taking local transport is the cheapest option and very easy even with the transfer from bus to train. Buy your travel card or tickets before you leave the airport (it’s cheaper than paying for trips individually). They’re sold at Pressbyrån, 7-11 and information desks at Arlanda. Prices are here: http://sl.se/templates/PriceList.aspx?id… Then take bus 583 to Märsta station, it stops outside every terminal and takes ~17 minutes. Follow the crowd into Märsta station, and take the pendeltåg (train) to Stockholm Central. The entire trip takes about an hour. If you buy a travel card, the whole trip is covered (unlike the other options that include transport outside of SL).
