Which is the best office to ask for shredded paper for my rats bedding?
Hi Joking, oh sorry Joe King… you are good! Anyway be wary of using shredded office paper as some of the ink used is toxic and the same goes for newspaper and so can be dangerous to small animals [ not always but better be safe then sorry ]. if it is just for their bed area you can use kitchen towel shredded into strips…yes you do end up spending money but you can usually get a bumper pack of 6/8 rolls for about £4 which will last you ages even if you give them lots! Try not to go for the really cheap bumper rolls as when you tear them they can be dust like around the edges which can cause respirotory problems for small rodents hence why people are recommended not to use sawDUST now but rather woodshavings etc. Or get a cheap shredder and a cheap bumper pack of plain paper and do it that way.Or as people have said you can buy bedding from pet store and depending on how many rodents you have it still maybe worthwhile. So slow on getting you at first, but finally do!!! Update; Just r
