I prefer the 5th gen nano to the 6th generation model. Among other things, the older model has a video camera and the ability to watch videos (music, TV shows, movies) on the screen. The new one is basically an iPod shuffle with a video display. It is wonderfully compact, but Apple took away a lot of cool functions in making the device so small.
