Which is the best invention of the Millenium?
Assuming that you mean what was the best invention of the last 1000 years, I would suggest movable type or the integrated circuit. Move able type made it possible to generate, disseminate, and store information cheaply. Most of the intellectual accomplishments of the last 1000 years would not be possible without cheap books. One could argue that technology has advanced more in the last 50 years than in the previous 1000years and that is largely due to the integrated circuit which is what makes cheap, reliable computers possible.
