Which is most cost effective for wiping up spills; paper napkins, paper towels, or facial tissue?
Paper towels. Paper towels are actually made for picking up spills. Napkins are for wiping up smaller messes, like those on hand and face. When you wipe up spills, it just soaks a small amount throughout the napkin to make it sopping wet, and push the spill around the surface… Good for a quick spill, if you really need it, but other than that, no. Facial tissue is too thin, and you might as well have placed a sheet of tissue paper on the spill to clean it up, because it is so thin that it tears and isn’t worth the time. Paper towels get my vote.
