Which is harder to learn how to speak and write- Chinese or Spanish?
Chinese is harder to both write and speak but if you’re testing on it for school as a second language, you’ll find that both tests are scaled to what you should be able to learn. The Chinese test is considerably easier than the Spanish if a native speaker took the test so they are made to be about the same difficultly in school. I would say Chinese is more useful for international relations if you want to do that kind of stuff.
