Which is harder to get into, Medical school or Dentistry school?

I have always been told it is harder to get accepted in a Dental school. The way the world economy is going, however, I would suggest you take a hard look at becoming an aircraft engine mechanic or a plumber. Those people will always have jobs. Yes, so do dentists and doctors, but who would want to do that work in this day and age. I retired from medicine a few years ago. Best decision I have ever made. Over the last four years of my carreer, my effective salary dropped by 25%, and youngsters entering the field today are earning half what I did my first two years.
