Which is harder racing V8 Supercars or doing Roary the Racing Car?
I enjoy doing the V8 Supercars but this is the first time that I’ve done anything like this. I’d done sponsorship adverts and radio ads but to actually play a talking character, a cartoon race car, was something different. I’ve recorded three episodes, which for me as a great experience. Is TV a career that you’d look at going into after racing? It’s definitely something that I’m interested in. It’s [Roary] been a bit of a big challenge for me but I’d love to do some more media outside of racing. I don’t know where this will go in the future but I hope that Conrod will be a great success and that Roary will want him to come back to visit Silverhatch. If that’s the case I hope we can do some more recordings for them in the future. Do you think you’ve reached your peak as a driver yet? Yes. I am 36 this year and hope to be able to drive into my forties. But for me it also comes down to me still having the passion to drive a race car and get results. I am lucky enough to have signed a new
