Which is faster in “Real time” Road Runner or Bellsouth FastAcess DSL?

Yes, cable does get slower, but also, remember DSL runs on your standard phone line. I just answered another question about DSL, just because DSL says your going to get such and such speed, it all depends how close you are to the switching center and if the quality of the connection is good. You can’t be guaranteed that speed because of those two conditions. With cable, you have a better chance at gaining the speed you are suppose to achieve. And with cable, some companies are upgrading there systems to DOCSIS 3.0 which allows for speeds as fast as fiber on the copper connection. I would recommend using Cable because you have a better chance at getting faster speeds in the future then with DSL. If you get the best DSL you can get, you may come out disappointed because there may be some quality of connection issues that degrade your speed.
