Which is considered “better” taffeta or silk?
Definitely silk…a lot of the couture gowns, like Jasmine Couture, etc. are usually made out of high quality silk…which is why they are so expensive. I personally do not like taffeta. I think it has a weird feel and look; but that is just with the dresses that i have seen. Some people have been very happy with that fabric. Just know that if you want silk you are going to pay a lot more for it. Usually they will have a gown almost identical to the silk one made in a different type of fabric so the gown doesn’t cost nearly as much…
