Which is better yoga or weight training?
You need to do both. You can’t choose between stretching and muscle-building. Proper fitness requires both. Now you do get some toning in the yoga, but not enough to build mass or properly strengthen your bones. On the other hand, the stretching increases you range of motion for weight lifting, in addition to decreasing risk of injury. And don’t forget some cardio!! Neither of these strengthen your heart of increase endurance–that’s where cardio comes in.
