The helmet was discontinued because it was less effective than the newer version. The helmet had six coils fixed in place, while in the newer version, with eight of them, they can be moved, allowing greater versatility. The software has instructions for emulating the helmet. The newer one is better.

Reports from the 8 Coil Shakti’s users show that it’s more effective than the Shakti Helmet (now discontinued). I has far more signals, and the coils can be moved, making it a far more versatile instrument. It also costs a bit less than it’s predecessor.
