Personally if you have to go for either I would choose the RAC. they seem to be quicker and the patrols a bit more reliable on turning up for the jobs. Have you had a look at Greenflag or similar. They just use local garages and are tasked to be with you within 60mins or they have to pay you £10+. Plus I think they are cheaper. To all who drive on the motorway – Get some breakdown cover you do not want to be stranded with out any, it will cost a fortune otherwise.
