Which is better purchase Citation X or Gulfstream?
What’s better, a Corvette or a Cadillac? It depends on what you want. The Citation series are the best selling biz jets and the Citation X has an area ruled design (like high performance fighters) that makes it the fastest biz jet in the world. But sales numbers and performance only tell part of the story. The Gulfstream (right from the turboprop G I) has always been the last word in luxury and has a price tag to match. Since the extra speed of the Citation X is only going to take a few minutes off your journey, (you can’t takeoff or approach and land any faster) I’d take the Gulfstream and ride in luxury and style.
