Which is better processor pentium dual core T4200(2Ghz) or AMD Athlon™ 64 II dual-core mobile(2Ghz) ?
Both the processors that you have mentioned are very evenly matched. They both have identical clock speed (2 GHz), L2 cache memory (1 MB), the same power rating (TDP) of 35 W & both are mobile dual core processors. The only differences are the bus speeds & their operating temperatures: The Intel Pentium Processor T4200 processor supports upto 800 MHz of FSB speed while the AMD Athlon 64 X2 QL-62 (2 GHz) supports upto 1800 MHz. The AMD Athlon 64 X2 QL-62 has a maximum operating temperature of 100 °C whereas the Intel Pentium Processor T4200 has a slightly higher operating temperature of 105 °C.
