Which is better – Primark or Matalan for cheap clothes?
I buy from both and generally I’d say the clothes from Matalan are better quality, but their prices are a bit higher than Primark. So if I wanted something just to wear a few times, I’d look at Primark but if I was going to buy something like a coat or boots, I’d go to Matalan. I just got some really nice leather knee length boots from Matalan for £40 and I’d seen similar ones in the high street shoe shops for over £60!! I agree with the person who said Primark is messy – there have been times in there when I’ve felt I was at a jumble (rummage) sale.
