Which is better: iChat or Adium?
Both have a somewhat different set of features, so really, I’d say both. iChat has features like audio/video chat, screen sharing, and iChat Theater which Adium lacks (although audio and video are obviously on Adium’s to-do list), while Adium is INSANELY customizable and can be used with zillions of different instant messaging services — with a few fancier features missing from some. Personally, I have both an MSN account and an AIM account that I use regularly, and the majority of my friends are using Windows (which precludes horsing around with OS X’s screen sharing), so I tend to use Adium mainly, and iChat if I really want to use one of its extra features.
