Which is better fiscal or monetary policy?
At the end of the day they are both significantly important, however the guys at the FED who run monetary policy tend to do more comprehensive analysis and think about the long term effects of their decisions on the Economy, while Congress and the White House who run fiscal policy tend to be short sighted and want to create jobs/cut taxes/spend money hastily and these may only be beneficial for a short time before inflation and unemployment still rise in the future. So monetary policy is much more calculated and exercises more care and caution when making decisions.
