Which is better – Cingular or Verizon cell phone service?”
I’ve had Cingular since 2002, and my wife has been with Verizon since 2003. CUSTOMER SERVICE Cingular’s Customer Service, in my experience, has sucked. They have absolutely no interest in being helpful it seems like. Every time I call them, the calls just end with me being furious, from having to talk to a complete idiot for an hour. Haven’t had as much experience with Verizon’s Customer Service, but they have seemed to be a bit better. Not great, but better than Cingular’s. At least once in a while they pretend to want to be helpful COVERAGE In our experience, 99% of the places we go, I have better service than my wife. The only place that her service was better is in Western North Carolina around the national parks… they have no Cingular towers in the area. Other than that, I’ve had great service everywhere I’ve gone… all around the midwest… the northeast… the south… out west as far as Vegas… and even internationally in the Caribbean, Hong Kong and the Philippines.
