Which is better – Blockbuster online or Netflix?
I’ve used both in the past year. I started out with Netflix. I decided to give Blockbuster Online a try because of the ability to get a free DVD for returning the mailer to the store. I was disappointed with Blockbuster for a few reasons: * Less selection than Netflix * Inferior interface to search/view/rate movies * Worse queue management. Specifically, if you have multiple seasons of a tv show in your queue, and the next disk from the current season isn’t ready, they’ll ship you the first DVD of the *next* season, regardless of the fact that you haven’t seen all of the current season yet. However, all that being said, with Blockbuster, you do effectively get twice as many rentals, because of the ability to turn the movie into a physical store and get a free rental from it. Plus you get a coupon once a month for another free rental (which can be used for either a movie or video game).
