Which is better and why, Hot Showers or Cold Showers?
Actually, alternating between as hot as can be tolerated to as cold as can be tolerated … back & forth several times is better … it will stun the growth of almost all germs in you, while having no effect on your immune system … so it is great for the health. Steam baths or saunas and cold water plunges work well also … but in the martial arts world, we have a pair of exercises that induce a high fever followed by near hypothermia … back & forth to hinder bacteria from multiplying, so it is easier for the immune system to wipe them out.
