An A.S. Degree is designed for students who are interested in vocational programs. The A.S. Degree is usually sought after by students who are interested in getting employed immediately after completing their community college degree. An A.A. Degree is designed for those student who plan to transfer to a 4-year college and complete a Bachelor’s Degree. Please note that you do not need an AS or an AA to transfer.
