Which is better a Pedigree or Mongrel?
There is no such thing as a Pedigree dog, it’s called Purebred, the Pedigree of a dog is it’s quote “family history” who it’s parents where, grandparents, etc. etc. No responsible, reputable breeding would encourage incest, if you found this you would be dealing with an irresponsible BYB (backyard breeder) If you want a dog go to your local humane society, they have purebreds and mutts, see who bonds with you. If you wish to spend the money, find a reputable, responsible breeder, for a breed you are interested in, their dogs will be well bred, have healthy parents and so on and so forth. While it can be said that you never know what you’re getting in terms of a mutt from the pound, I found my dog at the Humane Society and to be completely honest, if someone told me to pick between my current dog and one from a good breeder, I’d pick my boy in a heartbeat.
