Which is better – a condenser dryer or a vented dryer??

I vote for the condenser because: 1) I don’t want a permanent hole in the wall 2) The vent hose can get blocked with lint and needs to be disconnected and checked as it can be a fire hazard. 3) I’ve had three vented dryers and all of them allowed a proportion of the lint to circulate in the room after they’ve been used for a while – not good to be breathing this stuff. Just run a white duster around the out of reach surfaces that don’t get wiped daily and you’ll pick up plenty of dryer lint. I never get this with the condenser. Yes, the condenser unit needs rinsing occasionally, but it takes maybe 30 seconds and yes, the water container needs to be emptied after each load, but it’s not a major hassle to do it.
