Which is best a portable, mid range or class 3 mobility scooter?
They all have different pros and cons: 1) Portable Mobility scooters are the lightest and most easily transportable scooter. They are also the most maneuverable and are ideal for indoor and outdoor usage. They can carry around 20 stone and have a travelling range of 10-15miles; 2) Mid range mobility scooters are larger and more comfortable than portable scooters. They are less easy to transport but can carry a heavier load (20-25 stone), have a greater travelling range (20-25miles) and offer greater user comfort; 3) Class 3 or road legal scooters are the largest and least transportable type of scooter. They do however offer the greatest level of user comfort and are fully road legal. In addition they have a faster travelling speed (upto 8mph), greater carrying capacity (25 stone+) and come complete with a full suspension.
