Which is a better off-road vehicle – Hummer H1 or Landcruiser?
None of them are as good offroad as a landrover series 1/2/3 or defender. They are the ultimate offroad vehicle and have never been beaten by anything except maybe the merc unimog. So for pure offroad ability I’d choose one of them. That said, while the hummer is designed to go offroad it is nowhere near as good as the Landcruiser purely because the hummer is oversized and underpowered. It’s also not built as well as the Landcruiser (so breaks a lot) and it is far too low for serious offroading. If you want maximum speed and full offroading capabilities then the Bowler Wildcat (based on… the good old defender) is a serious bit of kit!
