Which international trade or customs documents can be sent electronically using FedEx Electronic Trade Documents?
With FedEx ETD you can choose to use FedEx-generated documents or upload your own customs documents. The following FedEx-generated documents are available: – Commercial Invoice (FedEx Ship ManagerTM at fedex.ca and FedEx Ship ManagerTM Software) – Proforma Invoice (FedEx Ship ManagerTM at fedex.ca and FedEx Ship ManagerTM Software) – NAFTA Certificate of Origin (FedEx Ship ManagerTM Software only) You can choose to upload your own version of the above documents as well as most other ancillary customs documents you wish to accompany your shipment. The B13A Export Declaration cannot be electronically transmitted with the shipment. It must be printed and attached to your shipment or sent electronically using the Canadian Automated Export Declaration (CAED) provided by Statistics Canada. NOTE: Applicable customs laws, rules and regulations may require additional documentation for certain commodities, values or quantities and/or original hard copy commercial invoices, licenses, or permits.
