Since 1999, RWE has launched several stock option plans to supplement the basic compensation received by executives throughout the RWE Group. The new long-term incentive plan BEAT 2005 replaces the local LTI arrangements by offering a single, corporate plan. The aim was to offer RWE executives an attractive compensation component that rewards managers who make a sustainable contribution to RWE’s success.
