Geophoto can display most image file formats, including: • JPEG • JPEG-2000 • TIFF • PNG • GIF • PSD (Adobe Photoshop) • TARGA and several proprietary Camera RAW formats, including: • Adobe DNG • Canon CRW1 and CR2 • Creo Leaf Mosaic MOS • Hasselblad 3FR • Mamiya MEF • Minolta MRW • Nikon NEF • Panasonic RAW • Pentax PEF Geophoto can read and write Exif and IPTC metadata, including GPS coordinates, in JPEG and Camera RAW images. 1. Canon .crw raw images do not support embedding of GPS tags. This is not a limitation of Geophoto — it is an intrinsic limitation of the .crw (CIFF) file format.
