Which ideology (Conservatism/Liberalism) generally, at this moment and time, is better at critical thinking?
Ideologies don’t use critical thinking. However, people should – especially before they choose an ideology. What seems to be happening instead is many people just believe what they hear on TV or on radio and run with it without checking the data for themselves. Right now, the conservative pundits seem to be winning the propaganda war by spreading half-truths and out-and-out lies over the air waves. These pseudo facts tend to resonate most with conservatives who seem desperately to want to believe the things they hear. So… They simply believe without checking in many cases. Liberals use the media for the same types of demagoguery. But for the past roughly 28 years or so, the liberals in media have not been anywhere near as effective as the conservatives in media – primarily the radio. When someone like me comes along with facts, they often can’t stand it and so reject the facts without valid refutation (if ANY refutation).
