HONOURS Dato Star – winner of the Cheltenham Champion Bumper, Kempton Christmas Hurdle, Haydock Champion Hurdle Trial twice, and the Fighting Fifth at Newcastle twice. In the 2005/6 Jumps Season Malcolm had 28 winners from his stable of 35 horses at a strike rate of 15%. The 2006/07 season produced 31 winners at a strike rate of 16%, which saw Calatagan win the Castleford Chase for the second time.
