Which horse is better, Clydesdale or Belgian?

Depends on what you want it for. Belgians are usually better pullers- shorter with more muscle mass. Clydes tend to be smoother rides, and flashier. I have trained quite a few draft horses for riding disciplines from Clydes to Belgians, to Shires, and I have to say, the belgian was the hardest to work with in most of the cases. In a riding sense, Belgians tend to be low on my list of favorites, but I have seen a couple good ones out there.
