It’s so hard to turn your back on Rinne, who has been spectacular the last few weeks. He has a six-game winning streak after Sunday’s victory against the Blues and has posted three shutouts in that span. He has really turned up the intensity since the Olympic break. It’s also hard to forget that this is the time that Rinne shines. Rinne won 18 of his final 29 appearances in 2008-09 and ripped the starting job away from Dan Ellis.
