Which gives better headache relief: Mefenamic acid (500mg) every 8 hours or Ibuprofen (400mg) every 8 hours?
Ibuprofen is very good for headaches and better than Mefenamic acid, although Ibuprofen is bad for you if taken alot. Mefenamic acid is a pain killer too but not normally used for headaches. If you have persistant headaches then its probably best to see a doctor, as taking these medicines alot can have a bad effect on you in the long term and can cause stomach problems, throwing up, more headaches etc.
