Yes, Paul Stastny is a vital part of the team (the most vital), but there are some other young forwards that I think have a chance to develop into really good players that would also really be key to the success of the Avs in the future. These are TJ Hensick and David Jones. Jones is a big and strong power forward with tremendous speed for his size, however he just isn’t able to score goals. He gets breakaways and he gets many golden chances to put one in, but he always either rings it off the post, or puts it right into the goalie’s chest. I hope that was just his rookie nerves showing. Hensick is a smaller guy, but he has to be one of the fastest players in the NHL. He has pretty good hands and a good shot too. It seems like he’s a little disoriented when he gets on the ice, but he was a rookie last season too, so I hope he overcomes that this season. I’m confident both of these players will make the Avs roster full time this season, and I think they should turn into core (and hopefu
