This depends upon the content that has to be stored in the database. If the content is a description it is always recommended to store the contents in Font codes. If you desire to display the contents of the table on the basis of some Indian langauge column, then you should store the contents in ISCII. On the other hand if language independence or vendor independence is desired, then you must store all the contents in ISCII only.
