Which foreign law modules are considered the same as those offered in Aberystwyth?
Modules such as Criminal Law or Contract Law are never the same, as they reflect different legal systems and rules. So you are free to choose those. The problem only arises in respect of supra-national law e.g. International Law, European Law or Human Rights, or modules not tied to any particular legal system e.g. Legal Theory. Whether such modules are the same, depends on their syllabus. Please provide us with the syllabus of the foreign module you want to take, so we can compare it with our module of the same topic. Some of the modules listed in the Table below have been reviewed recently, and we are in the process of expanding the ‘database’.
