Oslo is located in the end of the Oslo Fjord, but that is in fact one of the most boring fjords in Norway. It looks more like just a bay with flat land. The most spectacular fjords in Norway are Sognefjorden and Hardangerfjorden, which is both located much closer to Bergen than Oslo. I recommend travelling to Bergen, and choose the “Norway in a nutshell”-tour. You can find more information about it on their website: http://www.norwaynutshell.com/. While checking out the fjords, I really recommend Stegasteinen Viewpoint (Above Aurlandsfjorden) and Flåmsbana Railway. Hope this helps!
