Well, none, really. A file’s extension has nothing to do with its actual contents. You can rename BADVIRUS.EXE to My_Booty.jpeg and it’s still a bad virus. It won’t easily execute under the .jpeg name, but all it takes is another tiny virus activator to rename and run it. Plus there are holes in most file processors, so even jpeg and java and flash files have been known to carry viruses. In general you have to be very careful. It helps a lot to stay away from all those borderline sites or the ones that your browser suggests you stay away from. It also helps to have a better browser, like Google Chrome, and keep it up to date.
