Which fertiliser is best for flowers in hanging baskets and window boxes?
Miracle Gro is good, but the problem is that hanging baskets and window boxes need frequent watering, which will wash the Miracle Gro out of the soil. I find a slow release solid fertiliser such as Growmore to be more effective, as it dissolves slowly with each watering. Iput some sunflower seeds in last week, and now have a healthy crop of seedlings. They should be covered with about 1 inch of soil.
