Which ferns are there which are evergreen ??

0

The Christmas Fern and Dragontail Ferns are evergreen and perennial. The site below lists some ferns and in the description it will tell if they are evergreen or not. They also have pictures for reference. Edit: Maidenhair Ferns are generally not evergreen. Some species will hold their leaves depending on how cold it gets. The Himalayan maidenhair fern (Adiantum venustum) will stay evergreen into the middle or upper teens. There are dozens of species of Maidenhair ferns and it just depends on the species as to what zone they would grow. I know some will grow into zone 4-5 and as warm as zone 8-9. Not all species will grow in all the zones however. The most cold resistant fern I know of is the Christmas Fern…I have seen these ferns in the woods when the temperature gets down to 15 below zero and colder.
