Which family is more powerful the Hilton or the Marriott?
I would say that Bill Marriott has more power than the Hilton family. They’re worth less than a half billion combined. Bill and his family, meanwhile, run Marriott, are active in the LDS (Mormon) faith and he sits on some powerful association and government boards, including the President’s Export Council, the National Geographic Society and the National Urban League.
