Every workout should begin with a 20 min warm up. This allows your metabolism to kick into gear and help you effectively burn calories. Also its good to have goals, a timetable, target weight loss, etc. Cardio and Aerobic work outs are the best for losing weight. This means a lot of moving around for as long as you can. Take is slow. After a stretching and a warm up try to stay active for at least a thirty minutes your first week and increase it to an hour the next (not counting warm up).
