Check out Jeeves. I don’t say this because I work with them now but the ease with which you can pull out reports is just incredible. It is one of the most IT-independent system that you will ever come across. Having said, its best feature is the ability to lay some rock solid controlling & security tools without major changes in your business/operational model.
