Electric door strike with holding function (e.g. Models 22 water-resistant, 24, 27 etc.). When the door strike is energized and the door closed, the arrester pin in the middle of the keeper is pressed in. The door strike remains unlocked until the arrester pin extends fully when the door is opened.
