Reducing the effect means: thrombophilia increases, INR drops, Quick value rises: • Anti-epileptics (e.g. Carbamazepin, barbiturates) • Antimycotic drugs (e.g. Griseofulvin) • Antituberculous drugs (e.g. Rifampicin) • Vitamin preparations (vitamin K) • Laxatives are to be assessed with care because the effect on anticoagulation is not predictable This list is not comprehensive!
