Contrary to what is popularly believed, the visual effects experienced by users of LSD can usually be distinguished from reality with relative ease. Overwhelming hallucinations that cause bizarre and self destructive behaviours are largely a product of the imaginations of anti drug campaigners and those inventing urban myths. MDMA use certainly does not drain the spinal fluid, and there is no study, nor anecdotal evidence, to support this ridiculous claim.
