Which drinks are commonly mixed with brandy?
1 measure of brandy, 1 measure of creme de cacao and one measure of double cream poured over the back of a spoon so it floats. This is an Alec’s Angel named after my grandfather. If you shake and put a little grated nutmeg on top it it’s a Brandy Alexander. Mix brandy with champagne and drop in a sugar cube with a few drops of angostura bitters is nearly a champagne cocktail. There is another ingredient I use but that’s my secret.
