Which do you think is best trout fishing with a dry fly or with a spinner?
With me being a fly fisherman most of the time I will say using a dry fly is better but what really matters is how you use your lures/flies, when you use them and what they look like. You can be a pro trout fisherman if you use spinners but you could be the worst fly fisherman out there. Also try to see what the trout are feeding on and match your lures/flies accordingly and make sure to see if insects are on the surface, if not go with a spinner. But most of the time go with a dry fly, they can work wonders if used correctly. Cast the fly upstream and let the flowing water take it downstream and repeat. Good luck and tight lines!
