A. Most newly launching DellTM OptiPlexTM , LatitudeTM , Dell PrecisionTM workstations and mobile workstations, XPSTM and InspironTM platforms will be capable of running Windows Aero*, provided they are configured with at least 512 MB (1GB Dual Channel memory recommended), an advanced graphics card and the Windows Vista® Business, Windows Vista® Home Premium and/or Windows Vista® Ultimate version of the operating system installed. The Windows Vista® Home Basic version of the operating system will not support a Windows Aero experience. Also, the LatitudeTM Ultraportable, which is not designed with dual channel memory, will not be able to support Windows Aero. This type of system will run Windows Vista® , but cannot support the Windows Aero Graphics GPU requirements. See Windows Vista® Capable Guidelines and Windows Aero Requirements.
